I think the preliminary rounds were to cut out all the ok singers and find the excellent and really bad singers to make it on tv so the judges had a really easy time choosing who they would pick. I also missed this years audition and Hollywood rounds so i'm not sure how they did it this time around but they used to just choose the stand outs on both ends. Personally, I think that cuts out a bunch of good ppl who should've been given more of a chance. but they have to get through the thousands of people somehow i suppose.
I agree Scotty will get far with his voice and style though it is a little bit more specific. I was proud of him stretching it last night. Him and Thia both need like two years to fully mature, figure out themselves and their voices. Then they will have insanely good careers. But right now they are just a little young (Thia more so than Scotty).
I also agree in that my personal favorite for winning is Pia. She's got some crazy talent and has killed it every time on stage ( That i've seen her)
My top three are Pia, Jacob, Casey. and Stefano will probably be up there too. I've heard a bunch of ppl say James will make it far and i don't disagree but i place him at 6. Don't know why but that's my gut feeling.
He's good but his style isn't my personal favorite. (again with the preferences :P.)
It's a great show and i think everyone can agree it's definitely a competition. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
